Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refunds & Processing

Refund requests are processed within 7–10 working days from the date of cancellation, subject to applicable deductions and booking terms.

For reservations made through third-party travel platforms such as Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Agoda, or other online travel agencies, cancellation and refund policies will be governed by the respective platform’s policies.

Booking Adjustments

Guests may request booking modifications or date changes depending on room availability and applicable seasonal policies.

  • Requests for changes should be made in advance before the scheduled check-in date.
  • Date changes during peak seasons or holidays may involve additional charges.
  • All modification requests are subject to room availability and management approval.

Rescheduling Policy

Guests may request rescheduling of their booking prior to arrival. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and current room rates for the revised dates.

  • Rescheduling may not be available during peak tourist seasons, festivals, or public holidays.
  • Only one rescheduling request may be permitted per booking.
  • Additional charges may apply if revised booking rates are higher.

No Refund Policy

Certain bookings may be non-refundable depending on promotional offers, seasonal packages, or special discounted rates.

  • Bookings made under special offers may be non-refundable.
  • Peak season and holiday bookings may not qualify for refunds or rescheduling.
  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in retention of the full booking amount.

In exceptional situations, refund requests may be reviewed at the discretion of Kashmir House Pahalgam management.

Meals & Additional Services

Cancellation of meal plans or additional services should be requested prior to arrival for eligibility consideration.

Any approved refunds for meals or extra services will be processed as per the applicable policy.

Hotel Rules & Policy

  • • Guests are requested to carry valid government-issued photo ID proof during check-in.
  • • Check-in and check-out timings must be followed as communicated during the booking confirmation.
  • • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Internet speed may vary depending on network availability in the region.
  • • Guests are requested to maintain silence and avoid loud music or disturbances after 10:00 PM for the comfort of all guests.
  • • Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
  • • Alcohol consumption is allowed responsibly within permitted areas of the property.
  • • Guests are requested to treat hotel property, furnishings, and room amenities with care. Any damages may result in additional charges.
  • • Due to the natural surroundings of Pahalgam, guests may occasionally encounter insects or small outdoor wildlife.
  • • CCTV surveillance is installed in common and outdoor areas for guest safety and security purposes.
  • • Outside visitors may not be permitted inside guest rooms without prior approval from hotel management.
  • • Pets are currently not allowed at the property.
  • • All major mobile networks generally work well in and around the property, though signal strength may vary occasionally.
  • • Guests are advised to take care of their personal belongings. Kashmir House Pahalgam will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
  • • Hotel management reserves the right to refuse service in case of inappropriate behavior or violation of hotel policies.
